Our hydromassage jacuzzi and pool will ensure a relaxing experience in a natural setting with beautiful views of nature and river.

Our guesthouse provides bed and breakfast and many restaurants are available in Santa Comba Dao. Enquire at reception.
Picnics
Three secluded and designated picnics sites on the property and will have you picnicking in style and comfort, with wooden tables and double layered picnic blanket accompanied with a delicious basket full of locally sourced products such as breads, olives, cheeses and more, topped with a complimentary bottle of wine. Talk to us and we will arrange at an additional cost a delightful picnic basket.
Nature Walks
Enjoy a walk on and around the Ecopista, the track is great for walking and enjoying nature and enjoying the picturesque river views.
Water paddles and kayaks (included in price)
You are able to enjoy nautical sports with the use of two kayaks (1 x two seater and 1 x three seater) as well as two stand up paddles. Life vests both for adults and children are provided however mandatory. Reservation required at reception.
Cycling
The Ecopista is predominantly a car free zone, with the exception of the first 1,5 kilometres near the Santa Comba Dão train station which has a small residential area where Road and Ecopista are combined.
The Ecopista do Dão is known to be the longest Ecopista in Portugal with easy cycling and beautiful views along the Dão river. It was once known as a railway line from Santa Comba Dão to Viseu until 1988, then converted into one of the main attractions cycling and walking paths.
Fishing
Fishing is possible from the Quinta’s beautiful river shores.
BIKE HIRE
Bike hire is possible at Abelenda bike Rental situated on the Ecopista +/- 1,3 km from Quinta Vale de Palheiros.
